Attn NJBA Drivers:

We will be asking all drivers to present a DOT or FAA equivalent physical card this year with all driver membership applications. We will not accept anything that has your personal medical records. All we need is a copy of your DOT medical card or FAA medical card. If your medical with the club is still current, please provide a copy and we will honor it until it’s expiration. Once expired however you’ll need to get a DOT or FAA equivalent physical.

Please submit a copy of your medical card to Scot Tillinghast or Austin Cole when completing your 2026 membership application. You will not be permitted to go in the water on Saturday without a valid medical card. High school sports physical will be accepted for drivers under the age of 18.

Please remember to check your life vest for proper certification. All open boat helmets must be Snell 2015, 2020 or better. Snell 2015 will expire on January 1^{st, 2027}.

With the NJBA/CDBA co-sanction race, the NJBA adopted a throw-away race format beginning with the 2025 season and continuing thereafter. Under this format, each member’s lowest points race will automatically be removed from their overall high points standings following the November race. No action or notification is required from the member.

Diamond Club

Starting for the 2027 season all Diamond club fees are due March 1st.

2026 remains the same.

Diamond club payments can be made now by contacting Shawn.

We’re asking for your help! If you’re not going to be using your spot, please notify Shawn Ferriter @ 925-580-1938 ASAP. Also contact him if someone else will be using your spot. It would help tremendously on set-up day, oh and please do not resale your spot. You don’t want to lose it, there’s not much room left.

Helmets

2026 will be the last season that Snell2015 will be accepted.

Rule change submissions

All rule change submissions must be in writing and emailed to Joe Mierkey by Wednesday September 30th 2026.
