The National Jet Boat Association runs it's races at Lake Ming, in Bakersfield, California. Qualifying runs take place on Saturday morning and continue through the afternoon. Elimination rounds and finals are run on Sunday. You can hear the engines beginning to be fired/ warmed up at 8am on both days.

If you have never been to Boat Drags, you are definitely in for a treat. Unlike our automotive counterparts the entire Pit Area is open for access by everyone. Feel free to come up and talk with your favorite Racers and Teams.

Amenities include: "Rex Childer's Nitro Burger" for great food, and Redding Video Productions for awesome DVDs and VHS of the action. There is a full sandbox/ slide/ swing area to keep the little ones burning energy too. There are several hotels and restaurants in the area of Bakersfield.

Admission: Saturday = $12.00, Sunday = $15.00...
